ABC seeks to equip its members to do the work of discipleship both inside and outside the counseling room by helping them gain a better understanding of how to study, practice, and teach the Bible at the personal level.
Our Speaker
We are excited to welcome the gifted author, speaker and pastor, Deepak Reju to ABC on February 9, 2020. Deepak currently serves as an Associate Pastor at Capital Hill Baptist Church. He has a PhD. in biblical counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He written several books, including On Guard: Preventing and Responding to Child Abuse, The Pastor AND Counseling: The Basics of Shepherding, and She’s got the Wrong Guy: Why Smart Women Settle. Deepak speaks at national counseling conferences hosted by ACBC and CCEF and is regularly contributes to the Nine Marks and the Gospel Coalition websites. Deepak and his wife, Sarah, have five children, Zachariah, Lydia, Eden, Noelle, and Abraham. His passion is studying God’s Word, loving his family and shepherding God’s people. He will be leading three sessions on counseling and will be preaching the Word during our Sunday morning worship service.
