Serving at Amissville.

The Lord calls us to good works. Our works do not earn our salvation but they are a demonstration of our salvation. We serve together meeting human needs in the love of Christ. Whether it's serving a meal, nursery care, ushering, or teaching, each is necessary and each glorifies the Lord.

Amissville Kids

Lay ministers to Amissville Kids minister  through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. Whether during the children's moment during the worship service, in children's church, the nursery, the children are cared for and loved by the volunteer children ministers.

We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them during our gatherings. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Amissville  Kids, please connect with us.

Through April each year the children learn the Bible through the AWANA ministry.

Our summer intern leads the ABC KIDS Ministry from June - Mid-August

Student Ministries

Sunday Gatherings:

Those serving in our Student Ministry on Sundays get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship.

Midweek Gatherings:

Student Ministries also meets together midweek for games, community, teaching and bible discussions. We start the evening together playing games and hearing a message, specially crafted for middle and high school students.

We don't pay dues to the church but we delight in giving our resources to the church. Each gift is a seed that enables the kingdom of God to advance through Amissville Baptist. Like when saplings are planted in the forest,  in time they contribute to the beauty of the forest. The Lord blesses with rain and the warm sunshine to grow the trees. Similarly, the Lord blesses each gift to flourish His kingdom. The members of Amissville have a generous spirit of giving.

As Jesus left this world, his parting words to his disciples were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." We encourage you to be willing to serve and make disciples with us.
